Wasmuth’s intervention extends from the cover to the geometric black sections meant to be cut out, accompanying each section of the poem. The resulting interplay of image and text creates a side-by-side encounter between concrete and narrative poetry.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe colophon makes explicit the logic of this interaction: “The cover photograph illustrates the intention of the artist.
