Designed by the artist before his death in February 1963 as an all-blank book, the latter was published posthumously, with the name of its publisher, Jes Petersen, appearing prominently above the title on the cover. The Piero Manzoni Foundation sheds light on this ambiguity of authorship:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003e“An announcement published in that period declared that Jes Petersen was the author of the work ‘Piero Manzoni. The Life and the Works’, composed of ‘around 100 pages’, with a format of 17 x 12 centimetres, published in sixty copies: in reality it was only in 1963 that Petersen distributed ‘Piero Manzoni.
