One recurrent theme in the Metabooks collection is the blank publication, in which the absence of any printed content transforms the volume into a veritable tabula rasa. Conceptual and slightly iconoclastic in nature, “Wit Weiss” concludes on a humorous note with an ironically worded disclaimer: “No part of this book may be reproduced in any form by print, photoprint, microfilm or any other means without written permission from the publisher.”
The publication was exhibited in 2024 as part of the "Text as Image" exhibition at Studio 454 in Venice, alongside other rare examples of completely “white books”.
